Spelling..Math..and More

Spelling...our tests will be given on Friday, so hopefully everyone has had time to study their lists that were sent home on Monday. We also provide a short amount of time to practice during the week at school. Math...thank you for helping your child get their homework and folder back each day. We really strive to encourage responsibility and it has a major impact on reinforcing skills. I realize that some of the objectives have been challenging, so be assured that we review skills in class each day before moving on. The test for Chapters 1 & 3 will be next Friday, so as you can tell we move fairly quickly through the objectives. Library...Friday is our day, so try to remember your books! Third graders are expected to know the various genres (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, fantasy, biography, etc.) so I'm encouraging them to explore different books this year. We are keeping two books at school for Independent Reading and one can go home to enjoy. Please contact me if you ever have any questions or concerns.
